Redding woman vows vandalism until she is jailed

A homeless woman who vowed to continue committing crimes until she was jailed was arrested on suspicion of vandalism, police said today.

Leticia Reyes, 44, was arrested at about 3:30 p.m. today after being arrested earlier in the day on suspicion of felony vandalism, Redding police Sgt. Mike Thomas said.

"Apparently, she just wants to go back to jail," Thomas said.

Reyes was first arrested early Sunday after police received a report at about 3:30 a.m. that several businesses in downtown Redding had been vandalized. The numerous windows at Gerlinger Steel, the VFW Hall and U.S. Post Office had been broken, Thomas said.

As the 99% sinks even further into despair, there will be more of this I suspect.
