What? No more stickies? No more hearts?

We have all enjoyed getting stickies and hearts for our donations in the past, but it looks like those days are gone. I guess they were just too expensive to keep handing out like candy, albeit expensive candy. Now, we get what? Nuttin?

No more stickies. No more hearts. Where's my Vallium? I can't take it anymore! Goodbye cruel world.

1. I liked stickies but not hearts...

I gave more for stickies and that seemed fun.

I tried to give hearts to people who didn't have any. Still there were so many posts about not being liked enough to get a heart that they made me feel bad. A heart with "Evil DUer" just didn't seem right to me.

I'll miss the stickies. Some were really very clever and humorous. Lots of fun. The hearts were never a favorite of mine either.

....but I did enjoy giving them.

I have no problem with trying something new. I know Skinner & Co are doing what's best for DU. I can afford to pay whatever, so money is not a problem. I did like donating and giving the benefit to someone who needed it.

I'm staying no mattter what. Been here way too long to give up now.

After ten years here, I still haven't learned how to post pics. Oh, I've tried, but something just isn't right with my puter, I guess. I always have trouble posting on high traffic days. I'm sure it's some setting on my puter, but I can't nail it down.

DU has been my home page for many years. It's the first thing I see every morning.

I kid around a lot, but a world without DU is not appealing to this creature of habit.

4. Hearts: junior high school popularity crap. The popular DUers have rows of them lined up

from their followers while others are lucky to have any. Lucky if the concept was not so stupid for a site where adults post.
