Rick Perry was funny doing Letterman's Top Ten.
He was funny, self-deprecating, smiled, was very likable. Maybe he should be on TV, but he shouldn't be president, he shouldn't be influencing policy.

1. That's the problem: He has been influencing Texas policy
and the results have been horrific. This affable bullshit sells well to the wankers that vote for him every time, so to me he's about as funny as the boil on my tush.

5. I know the policies have been horrific, I've seen the results firsthand.
I'm a nurse and have seen the results in the school system. He even acknowledged that the healthcare issues in Texas have caused parents to rely on school nurses as an unofficial gateway before before parents take their kids to the doctor.

I didn't mean to sound like I was making excuses for him.

What I was trying to convey is that he's more of a clown, a comic, an attention-seeker, not a genuine contender. He's in the wrong line of work.

2. He went a long way to fixing his perception problem from the debates

he could very possibly start rising in the polls again. I think he did that well on Letterman. His likeability factor will likely go way up.

Doesn't mean he's not a dangerous snake.

9. He might make a decent actor with limited roles.
His acting certainly had a lot of people convinced that he's a good governor.

3. He's all too cute for himself!1 We've already done the have- a- beer- with thing

Good grief, GOODHAIR just did Dave's Top 10 and was an insufferable, narcissistic jerk-off. He clearly thinks he too cute for himself.

I've often wondered why some people get their own roles mixed up with others, like ministers who really just want to be entertainers, talk show hosts who want to preach and be ministers, and this GOODHAIR fool who really should have been a starlet on the casting couch.

His presidential press conferences would be just endless mugging and preening and flirting and lapping up everybody's eyes on him.

And there was CAIN in his non-factual press conference where his lawyer threatened the women and CAIN just denied and seemed to think that his denials carry any weight. His idea of "being in charge" is to assert, declaim, proclaim, and thunder the Word on down to all us minions. That's what he thinks he could fill four years with, or perhaps even one of those president-for-life-constitution-rewrites.

Holy Zeus almighty!1

I'm a nurse and have seen the results in the school system, for starters. He even acknowledged that the healthcare issues in Texas have caused parents to rely on school nurses as an unofficial gateway before parents take their kids to the doctor.
