Rep. Joe Walsh Apologizes For Screaming At Post Office Worker, Telling Her That Her Job Isn’t Necess
http://thinkprogress.org/special/2011/11/10/365890/walsh-insults-post-office-worker/

The most offensive part of Walsh’s rant, however, wasn’t even his hysterical defense of Wall Street and corporate lobbyists. Rakestraw, a post office worker, said she was taken aback when she asked Walsh about how to save jobs like her own. Walsh replied bluntly, “I don’t care about the loss of public sector jobs.”

1. That clip'll make a lovely political ad ...
and with his child-support fiasco, the ads just write themselves.

3. I've heard he's now claiming that his rant was due to being hungry
Watching the You Tube video, it was remarkable to me how calm everyone else in the room was as this madman stomped around, shouting and gesticulating. When he threatened to have one of the people removed, they basically just laughed. Walsh needs to become an ex-congressman, and that right soon.

5. And he expects his district to re-elect him?
If they do then they are crazier than Walsh.

9. That's not good enough
He should resign and be forced to change his name to preserve the legacy of one of the best guitar players of all time.

7. I can't wait until Joe is collecting an unemployment check
If I was in Ill. I would follow him to the unemployment office. He is in my wife's parents district.
Fortunately, they are deceased.

If he were in any other profession than politics, his employer would be telling him to take time off and see a psychiatrist.

15. For those who think the OWS crowd is similar to the Tea Party, here's an example....
of the type of person that the Tea Party wants to put in office. They are apparently happy with him.

Two organizations might have an overlap or two on some issues, even if only partially. But OWS and the Tea Party are VERY different in their thinking and their positions on various issues. I can't imagine any Democrat voting to put loony like Walsh being in office.

19. We share a common frustration with the way things are, but totally different
ideas as to how to fix them. The TPer's think the problem is too much government oversight while OWS wants more government action on regulating corporation that negatively impact or lives. Given the fact that the TP is minded by the GOP and their big corporate money, I think we know which group has the right solution to dealing with the problem.

Maybe it's time to outsource his job. I'm certain there is someone in a third-world country willing to be crass and clueless for a lot less money.

Grammar edit.

18. His response to the bank issue was pathetic.
I paraphrase, "you want to regulate the banks again????!!!" No, Joe, lets keep letting the financial institutions in this country keep generating fraudulent trading activity so we can bail them out again a few years from now. What a tool.
