Walker backer forms recall committee, giving governor a funding step up

A recall committee formed by one of his own supporters will give Gov. Scott Walker a valuable fundraising head start on his main recall opponents.
David Brandt of Muskego filed a recall petition Friday with the state Government Accountability Board, under the committee name "Close Friends to Recall Walker." Brandt, along with Bettie Brandt, both listed as living at 17176 W. College Ave., donated a total of $238 to Walker since September 2010.
The unusual move of having a supporter file recall paperwork immediately angered Walker opponents, who suspected it was made to give the governor a chance to begin raising money before organizers begin their actual recall campaign.
Officials with GAB confirmed Friday that the formation of Brandt's committee would allow Walker to begin fundraising now, a full 11 days before the Democratic Party of Wisconsin had planned to officially start the recall effort on Nov. 15.

2. Why should it surprise Democrats that Republicans will do whatever they can to win?
They will game the system and take advantage of any and every loophole. This particular move by the Republicans should have been very predictable after what they did in the recall elections in running fake Democrats to force a primary.

If we don't get smarter and anticipate the Republican ploys better instead of reacting to them it will not go well for Democrats.

3. What worries me most is the probability
of fake petitions, leading people to believe that they've already signed ... Name that
dirty trick. Will this country EVER get back to a fair and honest election process?????
Sometimes wonder ...

4. Not if republicans are involved. They are natuarlly the most dishonest
species of the human race.

They haven't won a presidential election fairly since Bush I.

Bush II was appointed by the Supreme Court the first time after the FL disaster.

The second time something funny happened in Ohio along with them putting on the ballot in key states a measure to deny gays their civil rights. Which led black churches who have a high pct of gays in their congregations to get out the vote for the demonic party.

I'm not gay but I grew up in a black church. My gaydar went off when I was 8 about the minister.

My family didn't catch on until the minister propositioned my sisters husband that he would have to perform favors for him to move up in the ministry.
