The Republicans won the war stating repealing the Booshe tax cuts would RAISE taxes on everyone
what they would simply do is return tax rates to what they WERE before the fucking rich yet again got what they wanted and the little guy got shit.


The House should fight this bill until it expires, then we'd see some justice.

2. With all the lip flapping we did, we never, ever got that point across - nor the
fact that even the wealthy would get a continuance of the tax break up to 250K.

Our messaging sucks. They've got theirs down to an art form.

THAT'S the difference. We expect the public to realize the truth on their own. They make up their own "truth", so their base doesn't need to think.

4. It's kinda hard when even our Democratic President
is parroting right-wing talking points. But even so, polls showed a clear majority of Americans were against extending the tax cuts over $250,000. So I think our point did get across; it just didn't matter.
