1. Well, they do have a rule against recording devices, and
technically a notebook could be considered a "recording" device, since you "record" your notes in it with a pen or pencil. And a pen or pencil would have been an added danger, "being mightier than the sword", and all that. And she did have some leftist propaganda about the First Amendment and free speech or something written on the back, so she must have been a radical. She should probably consider herself lucky she wasn't maced, clubbed to the ground, or shot with a rubber bullet. :sarcasm:"
