Newt is a fucking liar, a man of low standards, a scumbag, a serial philanderer, a bullshit artist, a low-life whore.

I am from Georgia - I know this shit.

1. That has to be one of the most disgusting things I have seen in a while.
It was pure Koch libertarian propaganda.

3. There was a Cain-Gingrich DEBATE tonight. It just now finished.
C-Span.org will probably post the video later.
It was aired on C-Span1 and live streamed on the net.

8. Gingrich is vile.
Fortunately he has a tactical weakness.

He doesn't have the ability to sublimate his ego in order to win a political battle.

It all started with his attack on Jim Wright.

12. Newt today is kinda like a 15 year old cheeseburger, with a bite out of it, that suddenly
crawls outta the back of your fridge, when you go on a cleaning binge, and climbs up onto your kitchen counter and smears fresh mayo all over itself and does a little song and dance number about how tasty it is, and mebbe even waves around some stuff that sorta looks like what used to be fries that were there in the paper bag with it; and if your memory is pretty good you might even remember how the cheeseburger got jammed into the fridge that night all those years ago, but none of that really matters much now -- because nobody wants it anymore

13. It makes me so angry when...
I see these guys spewing the GOP propaganda

They twist things and misrepresent

and say it all with a straight face.

There ought to be a law against slinging outright lies on the TV
just to confuse people!!!

It's a tactic but I want my elected officials to have more integrity than that.

Look on the bright side - I think everyone is getting
really tired of the lack of progress beiong made because
of the GOP stone-walling!!!

Bye, bye lice!!!!
Can't wait till 2012!!!!

18. They just need to be called out on it
Edited on Sat Nov-05-11 11:27 PM by Worship Money
But the media lets them get away with it.

These scumbags are allowed to go on TV, and make completely false claims about factual information. About stuff that, whatever ideology you claim, is NOT debatable. Like saying Obama raised taxes.

No one calls them out on it, that's the problem. When that's the case, the public is basically at their mercy.

19. yep..there are some right-wing nuts like Sarah Palin for example - if they were a next door neighbor

and not a public figure or holding or seeking political office - I might actually kind of like them and just dismiss their craziness and think of them as just eccentric characters with some nutty ideas. But Newt he is nasty, not just politically nasty - but a bad person.

I remember how when he first appeared on the scene he kept tossing around the phrase, "the counterculture" - "the counterculture". I kept wondering who the hell was he talking about. He even refereed to Bill and Hillary Clinton as "a couple of counterculture McGovernick," My God even a slam against one of the great patriots and humanitarians of our time. But what on earth did Gingrich mean by "the counterculture" anyway? Artist and poets? Mothers who breast feed? Whoever they were he thought "the counterculture" were the enemy who must be eradicated. As I listened closely I came see that what he meant by "the counterculture" - this phantom enemy - was anyone who was a bit different. Anyone who might seem even slightly off beat. Anyone with an unconventional outlook. He meant me and a lot of other people even Bill and Hillary Clinton. We were not just people with whom he disagreed. In his worldview, we the counterculture were the undercurrent of society that cannot be accommodated - but can only be eradicated. Never mind Godwin's rule - In this case it is the truth. Newt Gingrich is a Nazi.

22. "Gingrich is the only Speaker of the House to have been disciplined for ethics violations."
The Wiki on Gingrich appears to have been sanitized a bit. While he was sanctioned for ethics violations, the committee unwisely declined to administer any further penalties. Only a few weeks later, Gingrich was already telling audiences that the committee had "concluded he didn't do anything wrong" -- exactly the opposite of the committee's stated conclusion.

29. I think that is very possible. Somebody has to be the non-Romney to represent the most
reactionary wing of the most reactionary major political party in American history. I have had my doubt whether Cain could ever be considered a genuine serious contender even before these recent allegations. CEO of the fourth largest pizza chain in America has not traditionally been considered an adequate qualification to be President of the United States. There is bound to be a lot of bad blood from many social conservatives toward Rick Perry given that his camp is getting blamed for leaking the sexual harassment story. Bachmann passed the crazy test - but she seems to be out. Probably because she not only sounds crazy. She looks crazy. So if Cain, Bachmann and Perry are out of the picture. That does pretty much leave just Gingrich. His resume of being a history professor and a longer tenure in Congress culminating in serving as Speaker of the House as well as a viable claim of being almost the founder of the post-Reagan extreme-right does give him plenty of gravitas. Furthermore, Gingrich is about as well connected as anyone could possibly be. He does pass the "right-wing nut" litmus test of having a long history of saying crazy and irresponsible things and has since he first emerged on the national scene. Yeah, time will tell..but I could see that happening
