Andy Rooney is dead at the age of 92.
He is in heaven, complaining about all the various different harps he has, but never uses. Please folks, don't send him any.

12. Organically.
I tell my (step-)dad every year that he gets more and more like his father, a man who once declared he disliked water because it was bland.

Other things grandpa declared a disdain for include radios, TV, yogurt, pork chops, his family, fancy razors with disposable blades (mind you, the man's hands shook like a paint mixer and he wants me to let him use a cutthroat razor? No.), sunshine, rain, clouds, dish detergent, lawn, traffic, "the pretty girl at the bank"...I can go on.

My mother is just as bad.

Middle-aged people get crotchety as they age and keep going on that route until they die.

10. "Have you ever wondered why the gates to Heaven are golden?"
Edited on Sat Nov-05-11 07:31 AM by Sabriel
"And it that real gold, or just some base metal with a coating?"

"And why does St. Peter always get stuck with gate duty? Can't someone else do it for a while?"

(Edit for finger fail.)
