This could go either way. Clinton handled the Gennifer Flowers accusations about as well as possible and went on to victory. Gary Hart handles the Donna Rice accusations poorly and was extinguished as a candidate overnight.

Lying is the key here. If Cain is publicly caught in a lie, it is worse than admitting to an indiscretion, especially if it did not involve actual sex.
