1. They know that the majority of their base will not vote republican
So they can and will continue to do whatever they please and whatever the rich and corporate society tells them to do.

3. Right! Bush impeachment is "off the table," but SS and Medicare are "on the table"
For some reason, I feel it should have been the other way around...

4. This the farce that has become the Democratic Party
They are willing to take their core values and put them on the table while republicants have said there will no revenue raising and will not put anything they believe in on the table.

6. The dems
have been fraternizing with the enemy.
They have drunk the kool aid.

Remember Tipper Gore, the fundy freak who started freaking out,in the 80's about lyrics in songs? She wanted to censor song lyrics, didn't she consider the constitution,no because the is a fundy ass hat.she is as right wing asshole as you can get,and Al Gore married HER.
I dunno about you,but If I was choosing a wife Tipper would be not even worth looking at,let alone listening to. The democratic party isn't democratic really. We have let awful people in charismatic psychopaths on the to.And they BELIEVE that rebub agenda. So of course, they'd put it on the table, they aren't the people's party anymore. The Dems haven't been in the ballpark of liberal for a long time. And sadly many Dems or Dem voters didn't even notice the right wing takeover, until now.

8. That was the primary purpose of creating the Super Committee in the first place.
Cutting Social Security and Medicare has always been their charge...has always been pretty obvious to me.

12. How many seniors and kids will it be ok to kill so we can shovel a few more bucks to Richie Rich?

Know there is a direct correlation between seniors that will die early so these bastards don't have to pay their fair share. Every time someone says it is "necessary to a deal" they are consigning a few thousand more of our most vulnerable to a scary end that we, supposedly, wouldn't wish on anyone.

So how many is ok? 10,000? 50,000? A million? A million miserable, tragic lives, ended in fear and want so the Democrats can pound themselves on the back for their good work? When you mark that ballot in assent think of the dead bodies and tear YOU just created.

Not one more dollar. Not one more vote for yellow-bellied compromisers. The only people that will agree to that are wanting to protect the little bit they have. But this country won't be stronger, and they won't be more secure, be agreeing to be the toadies of the wealthy.

Only gutless cowards see this as necessary to a deal. Really, we need more $8.50 an hour jobs? Really? Who do you think will win in the end, after a few decades of indentured servitude? Is your vision that poor?

Get some damn backbone. They are not your "bi-partisan" friends. They are your opponents, and believe you don't have the guts to hold the line.

Quit being influenced by their tv and radio, their silly little demonstrations. There are more of us that want a strong country, that would rather use our wealth to be the leader, instead of caving to them for a little taste of their sugar.

Prove. Them. Wrong.

13. The Democratic Party is a capitalist party.

The 'party of the people' was always jive but when American capital dominated the world and the Cold War made it necessary wiggle room could be found to mitigate capital's tendencies. Those conditions are past and so the wiggle room is gone, capital rules undisguised.

Why do I feel like we are getting the shaft?
Just so this sorry, no-account Congress can say, "They did it - we didn't do it! They're the ones that cut your Social Security and Medicare...not us."
