I purchase gasoline for $3.399 20 miles from my home yesterday approx. 20 cents a gallon cheaper than the town I live in. while I was filling my tank a home heating oil truck went buy with a sign on the rear bumper adv. #2 heating oil for $3.519!
Whats wrong with this picture? every 8th grader in the country knows that heating oil is cheaper to process! every person that follows the news see the press release in late sept that the refineries were on schedule for converting to heating oil,that the reserves were ahead of schedule and their would be no shortage of heating oil. that demands on gas was down and that heating oil would go below $3 a gal! at the time heating oil in maine was going for $3.19 a gallon. the national avg. was dropping one month later the national avg. is $3.519 the oil companies last quarter reports are in and their profits are record breaking.
when is our congress going to put a halt to this monopoly industry and force lower prices or nationalize them?
call your congressman today and demand emergency action and roll back prices now!
how many people are going to die in home fires or freeze because of this industry?

seriously this sounds like something off Rush's program.

The only thing I can agree with in your post is that the energy companies should be nationalized. Then it will be the government's job to move to more sustainable energy. Health care, finance, energy - all of these should be nationalized.
