Occupy the NYC Marathon

The NYC Marathon is this Saturday, 11/5. Wouldn't it be great if we could ask the runners to wear an Occupy Wall Street T-shirt or a vest or a sign similar to the race numbers? There were over 45,000 finishers last year and I'll bet a significant number of runners would choose to show their support. We'd have to get the items printed up in a hurry, maybe send out a mass tweet to inform people and arrange to have people there before the race to distribute them. I would donate to contribute toward the printing and I might be able to get to NYC to help on the ground. the printing.

If it can't be organized in time to have items printed we could at least encourage runners to make and display their own creations showing their support for Occupy Wall Street.

BTW, the race is sponsored by ING, the global financial giant.
