1. It's amazing

When you see pictures and videos of the people-actual human beings- that make up the Occupy movement.

You look at their faces, and you see the love in their eyes. You can tell that the vast VAST majority of them are good hearted, courageous individuals.

And the cops get sent after OCCUPY? The Tea Party and their wild eyed hysteria and ugliness and weaponry get left alone and cheered on, and the people at Occupy get beaten and shot at?

Wow. This gets me choked up (and enraged).

4. I do hope

I do hope one of the other protesters eventually calmed the guy in the plaid down. I'd say he's fairly up in that officer's face and waving around in a manner that isn't especially calming to people with guns. He's also a pretty big guy and standing very close to the officer. Are these the situations we should cut down on whenever possible?
