"Losers": Televangelist Pat Robertson Calls GOP Field TOO "EXTREME" To Win General Election

"This Is The Game For LOSERS"

TELEVANGELIST PAT ROBERTSON CALLS GOP FIELD TOO ‘EXTREME’ TO WIN GENERAL ELECTION | You know you’ve hit rock bottom when one of the most radical, hate-spewing figures in America calls you “extreme.” That’s how televangelist Pat Robertson described the field of GOP candidates, Right Wing Watch reports. On his show The 700 Club, Robertson warned that the GOP base is pushing their party’s presidential nominees to take such extreme positions that they will be unelectable. “I believe it was Lyndon Johnson that said, ‘Don’t these people realize if they push me over to an extreme position I’ll lose the election?’” he said. “Those people in the Republican primary have got to lay off of this stuff. They’re forcing their leaders, the frontrunners, into positions that will mean they lose the general election…They’ve got to stop this! It’s just so counterproductive!”

When even Pat Robertson thinks the Republican Party has shifted too far to the right, you know there is a problem:

2. Do you suppose Pat wants to jump in as a candidate?
Virtually everyone knows that this man is nuts. Nonetheless, the current GOP candidates (with the exception of Romney) have crashed through insane into some undefined territory of madness.

Actually, Robertson has gotten his ass kicked badly in previous primaries and I don't think it's likely he'd want to have another go at it.

As of now, it seems to be a near certainty that Romney will be their candidate. Regardless of the Tea Party puppets and the truly mentally challenged voters that inhabit the Republican Party, the powers that be will find a way to ensure that Romney is "the one."

It will be fun to watch Robertson and all the other fundies trying to find a way to urge their followers to vote for a Mormon.

4. Ha ha ha! Well, the stopped clock can give you the right time for the wrong reason!
For once, I'm hoping the miserable self-satisfied, soft old fool is right, and they will lose the election.

5. Guess none of them have been kissing his @ss the way he thinks he deserves
Didn't he know Perry has no reservations with kissing a goat-footed-demon's pimpled covered @ss, just so long as the money is right? There is no need for 'ol Pat to be feeling neglected.

9. that is the pot calling the kettle black!!
I heard pat robertson once say the problem with the country was " all those little white babies" being aborted. Doubt if he thinks any different today.
