City issues 30-day permit to protesters
http://www.gazette.com/articles/city-127108-issued-permit.html

<snip>
The City of Colorado Springs has issued a 30-day revocable permit to the Occupy Colorado Springs protesters.

The protesters will be allowed to stay at their Acacia Park location for the next 30 days as long as they continue to abide by the no-camping city ordinance.

City officials say that permits have rarely, if ever, been issued for this kind of cause. Usually these types of permits are issued for permanent structures, such as awnings on restaurants.
