Freeper "RJS1950" vents RE: Democrats who "screamed murder at Bush" for "capturning" Saddam
To: Paleo Conservative

Yeah, those looked like leg wounds. Not that I care about him but are any of the democrats in this country who screamed murder at Bush for capturning and the ultimate hanging of Saddam going to question this? After all, there was direct NATO air support as reported this morning which means der Fuehrer and his regime were directly involved. They directly executed him while admitting that he was surrendering; probably at the recent behest of the hildebeest when she said that the dictator needed to be captured or killed.

2. for one thing, the circumstances will probably be questioned
I don't know if it will be by "democrats" as in elected Democrats, but if there's anything questionable about whatever happened with Qaddafi then there will be progressives that question it.

4. If we'd have stopped our involvement in Iraq at Saddam Husseins capture...
...I don't think we'd be having 90% of the foreign policy related conversations that we've been having for the past 7 or 8 years.

5. Because a surgical strike to kill a known terrorist is the same as
declaring a war on a country based on cooked intel. A war that kills 100's of thousands of innocents and essentially breaks the country in the process....totally the same thing. What a rube.

For the record, I'd much prefer to have had Saddam, OBL, Gaddaffi have their day in court, but I suspect RJS1950 wouldn't appreciate learning about the reality of our prior dealings with these people. He'd be complaining that Obama and the Democrats were making Reagan, Bush1, and Bush2 look bad.
