When I was young in the '60s I read Cracked Magazine as a somewhat more mature alternative to Mad. The artwork wasn't as renowned, but the humor was decidedly more sophisticated. The online version www.cracked.com adopts the same format, graduating itself from sites like CollegeHumor on an adult level.

That said, here are The 5 Ridiculous Things You Probably Believed About Islam (And you'd be completely wrong)

A conservative commentator recently made headlines by claiming 10 percent of all of the world's Muslims are terrorists. An amazing claim, considering that equals 150 million terrorists and if each were to pull off an attack killing just 40 people, they could exterminate all non-Muslim life on earth.

Either they're not all that dedicated to terrorism, or the claim is utter insanity.

Well, if there's one thing everyone thinks of when they hear "Cracked.com" it's "friend of Islam." Which is why we feel compelled to clarify a few misconceptions for our readers. Also, there is no way this article will ever come back to haunt us in any way.

1. Read this earlier this week and was left wondering - is there somthing similar about Christians?

Because the same argument and how it plays out for one group (muslims/jews/etc) applies to others as well.

When it comes to the RW this is a good article to refer them to, when it comes to the left and things like 'all priests are molesters', 'Christians are the cause of many ills in the world', etc - and all the subsequent 'jokes' people have to put up with - well is there something similar to promote tolerance of the faith I and others belong to?
