4. The latest guy saying he's part of the 1%, wondering what we
want them to do?
For starters we want peope on Wall Street to KNOW they aren't going to dare even thinking about pulling the kind of fraud that went on before the collapse! We will make them know that by making an example of the crooks that screwed everyone! Get those bastard locked up and fined right down to their last shit stained pair of underwear!
6. "Democrats forced the banks to give loans to poor people with no
jobs..." Yeah right! That was the whole problem. I keep hearing right-wingers want to blame everything on Fannie and Freddie because of that. It was the investment bankers and rating agency's that created those mortgaged backed securities that created the market for all those bad mortgages. Otherwise there would have been no way for the Countrywide guys and others to get paid for writing those loans.
If there wasn't a lot of money in it, it would have never happened. I would also like to know how many people defaulting on mortgages were actually middle class and upper middle class that really could have paid but walked away because they were underwater?
7. A really good point was raised about the so called promise
of trickle down economics - nothing has trickled down. The fucking neo-liberal model has failed and OWS is about to bury neo-liberalism and its concomitant greed.
