1-year-old thinks a magazine is a broken iPad

This will either make you giggle or weep. And even if you giggle, it might be out of nervous fear for the future rather than joy.

For here is a one-year-old who believes all media are now touchscreen-enabled. She seems not to understand that a magazine--Marie-Claire, in this example--doesn't take to pinching or prodding.

It's just the world changing, and the world is always changing. (shrug)

Besides, this one year old will certainly grown and learn what magazines are relatively soon. They're not going away that quickly.

However, there will likely come a time when they indeed aren't around at all. We need to be aware and accepting of inevitable change, while figuring out ways to maximize its benefit for the public good.

The kid wil understand it... And posible go over to more traditional forms of reading... But we who are grown up today, do have to admit, the future, also when to reading, is going more and more digital.. Even I who have more than 1000 books on the chells, are reading books digital now.. Even tho it wil never be the same reading a book digital, than reading it the old analog way with hardback and paper. The world are chaning in ways we might not even imagined when we was young.. And digital tools are there to be used..

But, it is maybe little sad to see, that a kid, belive that a magazine is a broken pad, when they might not never know about other metodes of reading... But then again, the child is just one year.. When I was one year I was not ecactly Einstein myself..

But I got my Ipad, after I saw a 3 year old girl handle it as a pro.. And posible had a better grasp on it, than her dad who tried to guide her true the pad.. When a 3 year old child is able to use it as a pro, even I can use it.. (And I have to admit, that aple product is awesome. Was easy to instal, and work flawlessely on the wireless system I have.. And also have an excelent battery life.. I have to resharge it once a month or so.. I have never used a computer product, that was so easy to install and use before) And I have been around using computers since WIN95 was new (and before it Dos and Basic)

8. I'm a speech therapist and I use my Ipad all the time during therapy,

even with my early intervention kids. It is nothing short of amazing to see how quickly they pick up on where the apps they want are.
