Herman Cain is intentionally alienating the black vote by insulting black voters. This makes him "okay" with racist republican voters.
Herman Cain can be elected without getting a single black vote - but the same cannot be said about the votes of white voters.......I do not want a self-hating black man in the Oval Office - it's bad enough that we have a self-hating black man on the Supreme Court.
When he sits up there and lectures the poor and unemployed that they're just too damned lazy, that it's their own damned fault they're not wealthy...:grr:
3. I disagree on the part where you said 'he can be elected'.
He might be able to become the 'nominee', but he will NOT ever be elected president. Cain will need a big chunk of votes from the 'Independents' and I don't see how he will get those. And there will be a chunk of racists that will not vote for him either.
p.s. There are some of Palin's folks saying now they will support Cain, but there are just as many of her folks saying that they will write Palin's name in.
It's really way too early to figure out what will be happening a year from now.
