2. Yep
there are a hundred threads about guns and only a small handful about the real issue in this incident...lacking mental health (and addiction) access and facilities. Gun control to this incident is a bandaid on a chest wound.

4. Too broad
health care and mental health care are 2 different issues...not that they should be. Almost every health insurance plan has strict limits on mental health. If Obama and our 'leaders' wanted to really effect a solution they would suggest decriminalizing drugs, end the war on drugs and apply all of that money to mental health and addiction services which we currently don't have access to. No gun control would have effected this incident, maybe easy access to mental health services could have.

5. You're right. But it shouldn't be that way. We as a society are smarter than that.
But the insurance companies are in it to make money. That's called business.

For the record- health care most certainly includes mental health. It includes everything- prenatal to grave.
