Protests every where.... and we have the likes
of Thomas Friedman saying we all need to tighten our belts. Was watching GPS with mom... don't ask, not many choices for us nooz in mexico city, and Friedman had the gall to blame the rest of us for the crisis, and our situational ethics. I was going, it was YOU who pushed that you ass!

Oh and taxing the upper 1%, that be him... is not really part of the solution... BARF!

3. I tighten my belt for one reason only - when I need to help one of
my grandchildren through a crisis. They are in the same kind of situation the young protesters are talking about and I try to help them where I can. Mostly as a free babysitter and a shoulder to cry on.

5. My belt is tight enough. My step-daughter can't tighten hers any more
and she has a baby to support along with a deadbeat husband.
We "rent" our house on the other side of the state to one step-daughter and we support the other step-daughter because. On top of that, we rent a house on this side of the state to live in...
Tighten our belts? how in heck am I supposed to do that? I am fairly scared that where I work, my department will be contracted out...Tighten my belt? Where!

Kiss my ass, tighten the belt on Boehner, BoA CEO, Chevron's CEO, BP, SHELL, COSTCO, The effing Mariner's and Seahawk owners! tighten your belts billionaires.

I am the 99%, I am scared and mad as hell.

6. K&R for you, pal!
Paraphrasing the late great Bill Hicks:

"It really kills me when all these politicians and civic leaders tell us we've gotta tighten our belts,
cuz they went and lost all the money we gave them... I wouldn't mind tightening my belt, if I could tighten
it around Jesse Helms' scrawny chicken neck!"

7. For how long does a guy have to be completely wrong about everything to lose his NYTimes gig?

Did he get a lifetime appointment or something?
