The AUTHORITARIANISM of the RIGHT is really shining.
After watching news shows and news programs over the past week in particular; it is difficult to miss the authoritarianism. It is one thing to smear and try to marginalize a movement, but some of the lines used make my hair extend upwar. Just heard Ryan comment: SOCIAL UNREST IS UNAMERICAN". This "UN-AMERICAN" theme is berng repeated over and over.
What they are saying is that all Americans should suffer in slience and when the GOP says jump, the Americans showld say HOW HIGH. The Peole in a Republican World do not have a voice if it in anyway disagrees with the Right.
They may some on the right whipped into fear of dissent ans some do act like sheeple. They simply repeat what they hear but dig a bit and they do not realize they have been snookered.
BEWARE: This attitude makes leaders turn to martial law. LAW AND OREDER IS THE PRIORITY. Social Unrest is not the American Way.
People there is a lot at stake in the next election.
encouraged the Tea Party meeting at the doors of Congress? Remember how some Tea Party members shouted at black Congress members as these members walked into Congress?
I heard not one Republican say anything about the Tea Party being un-American then.
Sadly, I've watched far too many on the Democratic side also display their authoritarianism traits lately. I've watched them cheer the due process free assassination of an American citizen merely because it was done by the Obama administration. It's a real eye-opener.
I remember one of my South Carolina brothers saying that he heard a historian saying that the people of South Carolina were very reluctant to challenge the British government until the British made the mistake of treating the people as those they were rebels.
