Just a little visual reminder about whose camp he's in...as if there's any question.

Governor Perry Living High On The Hog In Rented Mansion

I still swear he had something to do with the burning of the governor's mansion so he
could conduct his daily comings and goings more secretively. But then I'm a hard core 'good hair' baddy. :P

...but no one -- no one -- can TOP the Republicons when it comes to dealing out generous gobs of government-welfare-socialist PAYOLA to themselves and their FatCat DoughBoy Cronies (R) while snatching bread from the mouths of starving urchins and bedridden elders.

It's their speciality (R).

5. there is no comparison between Edwards and Perry on this
Edwards mansion was paid for by Edwards not the taxpayers of North Carolina.

6. True. Or at least I think it is, although I'm not sure where his money came from.

These 'occupations' are not about politics anyway. Distribution of wealth is a big issue, and who bankrolls politicians is another.

8. This story is about a fatcat Republicon governor living high on the hog
Edited on Sun Oct-09-11 11:42 AM by SpiralHawk
sucking up heaps of taxpayer bucks for his own luxurious high-rolling first-class comfort, while he and his FatCat Republicon Cabal O'Cronies smarmily snatch milk bottles from babies.

It is soooo republicon...it stinks.

Republicons are Indeed the Latter Day Pharisees (LDP).

as The Estates of Barton Creek. Might be interesting to get at least a small band of folks over there.
However, this AP article calls it by another name:

Texas Governor Rick Perry has spent almost $600,000 in public money during the past two years to live in the exclusive Estates Above Lost Creek subdivision in West Austin, according to records obtained by the Associated Press. http://austinist.com/2010/05/17/taxpayers_footing_big_bill_for_perr.php

12. I wonder who owns the property and why it warrants $10,000 a month
when Texas schools are going without? Is someone getting a sweetheart deal, getting their home paid for over 2-3 years because they are buddies with the Guv?
