Police: Man matching California quarry shooter is dead
SUNNYVALE, Calif. (AP) – A man matching the description of the California quarry shooting suspect is dead after being shot by law enforcement in a Silicon Valley neighborhood on Thursday morning, authorities said.

Santa Clara County Sheriff's Sgt. Jose Cardoza said the man was shot and killed around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday in Sunnyvale.

Several media outlets earlier reported that the man who was shot was 47-year-old Shareef Allman, but Cardoza told The Associated Press he can't confirm that.

The shooting took place in a residential neighborhood about 5 miles east of Permanente Quarry, where Allman allegedly opened fire on his co-workers a day earlier. Three people died, and six were wounded.

1. I'm now going to wait for people to tell me that this was an illegal execution.
That it's a violation of due process and that fugitives are never killed while trying to evade capture, or without indictment or conviction.
