8. JUNIOR. The original Hank Williams was a class act and nothing like his son.

Hank Williams Jr. Ditched By ESPN Over Obama Hitler Comments

Having pulled his iconic Monday Night Football introduction song following his comments on Fox News comparing President Obama to Hitler on Monday, ESPN has announced that they are terminating their relationship with the country star permanently.

"We have decided to part ways with Hank Williams, Jr. We appreciate his contributions over the past years," the company said in a statement. "The success of Monday Night Football has always been about the games and that will continue."

Appearing on Fox and Friends, Williams said that Barack Obama and John Boehner's famed golfing diplomacy, "would be like Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu. Not hardly. In the shape this country is in?"

When co-host Brian Kilmeade said that he didn't understand the analogy, Williams was non-plussed. "I'm glad you don't brother, because a lot of people do. They're the enemy... Obama! And Biden! Are you kidding? The Three Stooges."

11. I still don't get the Three Stooges part
Is he trying to say that President Obama, VP Biden and Sen. Reid are the Stooges?

I think Boehner , McConnell, and Cantor make for a better Stooges trio. The only problem with that is that the real Stooges served a purpose. They were entertaining. The three Repub Leaders are just sad and vindictive...(and a whole lot more)

If you boil it down, that Repub trio is just a Pox on our nation.

13. I don't get it either, but here's what I think...
...since he was ranting about the Boehner golf photo op, I think that "maybe" what he was trying to say is that when you add Boehner to Obama and Biden you end up with The Three Stooges.

For whatever it's worth, if you go back and look at the original "Fox & Friends" clip, THEY were confused when he said it too.

Who knows what's in that little unemployed head of his.

:-)

6. Previously ESPN said the nature of the aplogy will be taken into consideration.

It would appear that I wasn't the only one rolling my eyes at the half hearted, superficial statement...it wasn't genuine and it wasn't enough. And with so much talent out there, ESPN doesn't need to hang on to an idiot that is determined to drag them into party politics.

10. the idiot is claiming it was his choice
a post on his website says
"After reading hundreds of e-mails, I have made MY decision," he wrote. "By pulling my opening Oct 3rd, You (ESPN) stepped on the Toes of The First Amendment Freedom of Speech, so therefore Me, My Song, and All My Rowdy Friends are OUT OF HERE. It's been a great run."

I doubt he read hundreds of email.. That would require him to have the ability to read and I dont think hes smart enough...
