....and I'll wager that Limbaugh or Glenn will pick up on it. The speaker that came last -- a young man from the protest whose name I don't know -- was wearing a scarf around his neck that I believe connotes Islam. A green checkered and fringed scarf. Wow, that will be red meat to those who want to denigrate the protests.

2. Ed shut that guy up when he started talking about a book...
...something with "Concensus" in the title. Ed neatly cut him off and that was the end. Don't know what that was about.

3. I saw that, too, and wondered why. It was also clear to me that Ed cut him off...

4. I accidentally heard 15 seconds of glenn beck on the ride home.
He said Occupy Wall Street was about cutbacks to the postal service.

He is truly clueless.

5. Wearing a keffiyeh usually keeps the head & neck warm (or cool)...
depending on the weather. Pretty good gear to have along when planning on staying for the long haul, especially if wind, rain, or gassing is a possibility. And I do believe that the OWS protests haven't any rule about excluding those of Arab heritage, have they? Or dress codes?

The protests will probably be denigrated no matter what any protesters wear, say, or do, by the MSM. That's what assholes like Beck and Limbaugh do for a living.

Susan Candiotti gave a pretty fair report from Wall Street at the beginning of John King's show last night, on CNN. You could hear the excitement in her voice, talking about the thousands who had turned out, the support from Unions, as the video showed the multitudes crowding the streets. It was short, but a very positive piece.
