Boy calls 9-1-1 to report dad to Santa Claus
NICEVILLE, FL: A four-year-old in Niceville, Florida, called 9-1-1 early this month with a very early message for Santa Claus: His dad has been bad.

Dispatchers in Okaloosa County say the boy called on January 2nd. Listen to the call by clicking on the video above.

He asked the dispatcher to write a letter to Santa Claus reporting his father's poor behavior.

9. Something to do with putting a big rock in his house.
Other than that, it's not clear. An officer was sent to check up on it.

It's a cute call, and one that I'm sure made the operator's day.

8. hah! mini-unblock figured out how to call 911 all by himself when he was only 2 years old.
which we learned, much to our surprise, when the police showed up on our doorstep....


actually, he dialed 9-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1-1 but it works out the same :)

10. A long time ago my computer figured out the same trick.
I had returned from England, and it was set to dial 9 for an outside line, then the country code for the US 11 and you're right, it really doesn't matter after that.

Happened about 2 weeks ago while my brother-in-law was in the shower.

Cute kid. My brother-in-law is a single parent and he's a good dad.

I had to play that for my wife. My brother-in-law didn't even know this was out there.
