The many faces of Jared Loughner...
Edited on Fri Jan-14-11 05:46 PM by toddwv
The transformation of this kid over the period of a few years is startling. Schizophrenia? Multi-personality disorder? This nutjob will inspire psychological profiles for years to come...

Almost like 4 completely different people from the deer in the headlights pic to the smiling kid to the ghoulish image grinning with a crazed glow in his eyes.

1. Fail.
OMG! That is soooo amazing that someone would change over the course of being a teenager to a young adult.

He really is a "nutjob".

3. My 19 year old goddaughter has schizophrenia and she loves being referred to as "nutjob".
I know that all mentally ill people look upon it as a great compliment.

Any other great examples?

5. I can remember when she had her first psychotic break, in tears at the hospital,
asking her mother, "Mom, does this mean I am crazy?"

There were 14 more hospitalizations after that at 12 different hospitals in the next year and a half. No, she is not "crazy", or a "nutjob", or a "looney". She has a disease that she did not ask to have, no more than anyone who has MS or Parkinsons. She faces enough discrimination because of mental illness and now she knows she cannot tell anyone who does not already know that she has schizophrenia, but she can say she is bipolar.

6. only the last one looks off
and aside from the expression and eyes (which DO look disturbing) I dare say my of us would look weird with our heads shaved and virtually all of us would with our eyebrows gone.

8. I haven't seen the two of them in the same room at the same time
Yeah, OK, maybe that's a cheap shot means of saying "Jail Glenn Beck".
