CBS chief admits 'high level of concern' over Charlie Sheen's troubles
The entertainment chief of CBS admits that the latest antics from troubled "Two and a Half Men" star Charlie Sheen are causing headaches at the network.

"I have a high level of concern," Nina Tassler told reporters Friday morning at the TV press tour in Pasadena. "How could I not? ... This man is a father; he's got children."

Sheen was recently in the headlines again after reports that he went on a bender with porn stars in Las Vegas. The actor has been in and out of rehab since he was charged in a domestic violence case against his now-estranged wife in December 2009. Last fall, he reportedly went on a rampage in his hotel room in New York.

Tassler's comments went somewhat further than she or other network executives have previously been willing to go and is the closest CBS has come to publicly chiding the star of its No. 1 comedy.

But she added that the circumstances surrounding Sheen are "complicated."

if any one of us conducted ourselves in this way, we'd be fired, let go, downsized..whatever way you want to clean it up. Fire his ass, let him pay some dues for once and learn a lesson. Rehab is a scam, trust me on this, their goal is to make money, I've been in one or two in my life and was employed by one. Instead of complaining about him, in public, FIRE. HIM. End of problem...Damn, stuff like this drives me nuttier more than I am already...

Better add this: Perhaps not all rehabs are scams, I've just not heard about them.

6. as long as he can act and make them money they won't care unless he does something absolutely awful
the sad fact is that there are a host of other actors and employees who are depending upon that douche behaving and he just doesn't see that.

Then you have the children he has fathered and ex-wives that get to have a front seat to seeing this nonsense.
