Fucking morons. Buyer's remorse already for merely days-old Republican leadership
While Obama’s overall job performance measure has held steady since the midterm election, this has not been the case for the Republican congressional leaders. The new survey finds the public disapproving of their policies and plans for the future by a 43% to 34% margin. Just two months ago, in a poll taken days after the election, the public had a more positive view: 41% approved, 37% disapproved.

Changing views of the GOP’s policy agenda are most noticeable among moderate and liberal Republicans, who approved of party leaders’ plans by 78% to 3% in November. Today, 57% of moderate and liberal Republicans approve while 22% disapprove. Independents, too, have grown more dissatisfied with the GOP’s direction; shortly after the election, about as many independents approved (39%) as disapproved (35%) of the GOP’s plans and policies for the future. Today, 30% approve while 45% disapprove.

The public continues to say they want Obama and Republican leaders to work together, but there is considerable skepticism that this will occur. About six-in-ten (61%) say GOP leaders should try to work with Obama to accomplish things, even if it means disappointing some groups of Republican supporters. A similar percentage (65%) says Obama should do the same in working with Republicans.

But by roughly two-to-one (63% to 30%), most Americans think Republicans and Democrats will end up bickering and opposing one another more than usual this year...

3. As we've seen (and not just last weekend), that's not a group you want to piss off.
And they were already grumbling loudly when the lame-duck Dems "steamrolled" the (R) minority.

They can't call it back, and they're not smart enough to fix it. Even if they could, the insane far-right can't, and won't, be placated.

4. They are ruled my reckless emotions.
Did you ever hear one of the nut jobs call up talk radio?

They get themselves into such a lather that they are immediately screeching over the phone like maniacs.

One word comes sputtering out on top of the next they are in such a rage to get them out to attack either the host or some issue that has gotten under their skin.

12. If you look at the polling questions, they don't ask for liberal or conservative
What they ask for is party affiliation of:
Independant, No preference, Don't know, Other, Republican, Democratic, Lean Republican, Lean Democratic

So They are interpreting Lean Republican as Moderate Republican and Republican as Conservative Republican
and Lean Democratic as Conservative Democratic and Democratic as Liberal Democratic

this is a very innacurate way of determing Liberal Democratic Party members

10. The poll has an accuracy of + or - 3%
So this is probably just statistical noise

15. You know why this is?
Because the media coddled mental giants that are supposedly the "independent moderate middle" are in fact compete fucking morons. These are the folks that if I insist the world is flat and you insist the world is round they will walk away convinced it is "football shaped; sort of round and sort of flat". If they are told by one person that 1+1=2, and told by another that 1+1=3, they will then argue that 1+1=2.5, just to be "moderate".

I would argue that Independents and Moderates are not the same groups. There are many thoughtful Independents yet I am convinced "Moderates" are functional morons who stick their pinkies out from their glasses of scotch as they make stupid statements like "I'm socially liberal but fiscally conservative", "I want abortion to be safe, legal and rare", and of course "So who won American idol last week?".
