An Interesting Phenomenon Amongst Teabaggers
Lately, and especially during the holidays, I have come into contact with several teabagger types. Sadly, some of these are members of my extended family. Aside from their slavish attention to everything Fox, I noticed something else they all seemed to have in common:

They're investing in Dinars. Or, they think they're investing in Dinars. It was the talk of the table on several occasions. I kept my silence during these conversations, but listened to their chatter about how they stood to make substantial amounts of money on their "investments." Pretty heady expectations they had too.

It got me to thinking about teabaggery and gullibility. Perhaps that's the common ground in the tea party movement: gullibility.

Anyhow, for those not familiary with the Dinar investment world, here's an interesting article describing this blatant scam:

11. It's a mindset ripe for manipulation. They're receptive to appeals targeting prejudices,
fears, selfishness, and greed. The same dynamics are in play with Televangelists, RW political leaders, RW media/personalities, and survivalist oriented con artists of many flavors (precious metals, firearms, MREs, etc.).

For people like Goerge Soros, however the first rule is always invest a LOT of other people's money (really softens the personal financial blow, if things don't work out). :)

*Only a fool would use their own money for it

14. I think the baggers are trying to keep this "bonanza"
to themselves. You know...don't let the "libruls" in on it.

17. Too late; I cashed in my Class B B/H shares and bought up dinars.
Did they really think they could keep this slam-dunk opportunity to themselves forever?
