The police violence and repression on Wall Street just reinforces the fact that we need to get cops back on a leash.

Which is why I want cops required to wear their badge numbers in great big football jersey numbers. You don't want to have to squint to peek at a cop's badge when he's gonna thump you or mace you just for asserting your First Amendment rights.

And that goes doubly true when they're in riot gear. When they're in hats and bats, that's the absolute last place where they should be anonymous. Hiding their faces behind the stormtrooper masks should not protect them.
