Christina's organs were donated --- already saved a young life.

I found mention of this posted in LBN by RamboLiberal, thanks RL.

It was a wonderful act of generosity on the part of Christina's parents to do this at a time when
they are burdened so heavily with the loss of a beautiful daughter. They are truly remarkable people.

Thought I was all cried out.

Nope.

Bless her heart, and comfort to her family and friends.

2. They did a truly selfless thing...
And their daughter will live on in the children who received her organs.

5. My son is alive due to a pediatric organ he received. Our gratitude is overwhelming.
"Thanks" can never be enough.

And I never stop thinking about the family of the child who made the gift.

7. That's wonderful
This is so hard to even think about. Mostly I just exclude it from my consciousness, it is so difficult to think about a child being senselessly taken from life like this but that is very gracious of her parents.

As a Buddhist the only way that I can deal with this is to remember that Christine is still here and that we are her. This helps underscore that point.

10. The gift of life....
What a generous and gracious gift indeed, and she and her parents are bringing healing for so many others through that gesture. Though her life was only nine years long, she lives on through those who received her organs, and her spirit lives on in all of us. Bless you, Christina, and peace to you and your family.
