Made the mistake of clicking on Fox & Friends this morning
and was treated to the morning sunshine of Michelle Malkin. As if that wasn't bad enough, here's what the banner at the bottom of the screen said:

DUPNIK UNDER FIRE

then below that:

Malkin: Dupnik Worst Sheriff in America

Under fire by whom? Uh, Fox News, and all the other shameful Right-Wing media. All I could do was laugh, shake my head, and quickly turn the channel. So, because Fox is temporarily afraid to rock the boat too much, they've decided on making Sheriff Dupnik the poster boy for all that ails this country. If I recall correctly, in his comments Dupnik made absolutely no reference to any specific political party or media outlet.

Is this the ultimate example of a guilty conscience?

1. Let DU be a salve on your wounded brain
Studies have shown that most people can successfully recover from a short viewing of Fox News.

Read a few posts in the Lounge, watch a few videos. Soon you'll regain your bearings and the fuzziness will lift. Clarity will return.

Malkin will become a distant, yet vaguely disturbing, memory. This, too, will fade over time.

2. Not long age a very conservative value was to support our law enforcement officers
Politics never mattered when it came to standing behind the people who put their lives on the line for us. Whether military, civilian, troopers, or firemen, their political affiliation was of private concern.

12. Nope. Elected every 4 years. He will be up for reelection in 2012.

"The Sheriff in Pima County is up every 4 years. The Sheriff’s term is 4 years. The next time he (Dupnik) will be up for election is August 28, 2012."

He was appointed in 1980 and has been reelected 7 times.

7. I'm at the airport and of course it's on Faux.
Jeez. At least the guest on right now is being reasonable, but they're doing everything to discredit President Obama and the Democrats, which is essentially what they do, so nothing new there.

17. Get a TV remote that allows you to remove channels. I have mine set where I can't make that mistake
and it saves me money on Tylenol.
