6. OK, two points if I may
1. you're using a double negative. The way you're wording your sentence Mr. Swanson is bashing those who are being anti-democrat party.

But why would taking to task those who are anti-democrat party be a bad thing (especially on a website that draws its namesake from that party)?

2. When did the democrat party become synonomous with violence?

7. Swanson takes the right stance against violence. My comment is on the
terms Swanson plugs into all of his writing such as, "Obama to whine about people’s lack" and "chief of staff who’s not a vicious warmongering corporatist." His writing always contains a swipe at the Democratic party.

BTW, Swanson posts under his real name here on DU. in the past, he has encouraged people to not vote for Democratic candidates which seem to originate from them not giving him the deference he believes he deserves.

As for Rall? He went off the rails somewhere and I don't regret unrecing a piece where Swanson and Rall play, "I'm more liberal than you."

You are right about the double negative. It should have read, "More Democratic Party bashing..."

2. Recommended though negated.
It's about non violent change. That is what I'm about. As far as to the condition of our nation, I don't have my head in the sand.

5. A call for non-violent change gets multiple unrecs at DU.
Unbelievable.

I, for one, find this piece worthy of thought, and I agree with Swanson's conclusion: a deeper debate is needed.

I'm not sure such a debate will be found here any more. :(
