...one of my favorite movies, "How the West Was Won" (1963). I've loved this movie since my sister took me to see it for my 8th birthday when it first came out.
It applies as a response to those who call the president a nazi, socialist, communist, foreigner, muslim, atheist, socialist and all that other bullshit. It applies as a response to those who've been questioning my (and those who think as I do) patriotism since I first expressed opposition to the Vietnam war at the age of 13 in 1968. It applies as a response to the people who thought it was OK to bring rifles to a presidential town hall, to those whose parents and grandparents thought that Charlie Chaplin was being too hard on HITLER in :The Great Dictator" and to those who object to being called a name gave themselves, "teabagger", but call us every name in the book.
In the Civil War segment, General Grant (Harry Morgan) tells General Sherman (John Wayne) that he intends to resign the next day, win or lose, because he'd been taken by surprise that morning.
Sherman says "A man only has the right to resign if he's wrong, not if he's right. And YOU'VE been right all along".
Substitute "apologize" for "right" and you have the Hoffa situation to the core
The teabaggers ARE sons of bitches as well as many other terms I learned (and have used many times) growing up in Southwest Philadelphia. We, meaning loyal Americans who love our country, need for these sons of bitch bastards need to be taken OUT (of office). They contribute nothing. They think nothing. They They are worth nothing. They deserve to have nothing in our public discourse.
Take them out.
PEACE!
