The latest from the best-organized tea party rally in America:

(One) source involved in the event said Palin and her husband, Todd, had personally committed to the event, but a consulting firm working on their behalf became concerned about the prospect of Palin sharing a stage with former Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell.

O’Donnell is no longer scheduled to speak at the event, and Palin is still expected, the source said.

Conflicting rumors about Palin’s plans were still flying early Wednesday afternoon.
