(CNN) - Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin will celebrate Labor Day in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire.

The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee will attend a Tea Party Express rally in Manchester on Monday, the same day former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney was due to attend the event.

Romney campaign reverses, switches course on two conservative events

Des Moines, Iowa (CNN) – On Tuesday evening, Mitt Romney’s campaign reversed one scheduling decision, and switched course on another regarding the candidate’s attendance at two major conservative events. The decisions irritated organizers of one of the events.

Just hours after CNN first reported that Romney would appear at a Tea Party Express rally on Monday Sept. 5 - Labor Day – in Manchester, New Hampshire, the campaign changed that decision. Instead, the campaign said the Republican presidential candidate would attend the Express’ tea party rally Sunday evening in Concord, New Hampshire.

Iowa tea party group reverses itself again, reinstates O'Donnell as speaker

Washington (CNN) - Former Republican Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell will speak at a tea party rally Saturday in Iowa after organizers Tuesday night reversed themselves again and re-invited her, CNN has learned.
Earlier Tuesday, citing internal miscommunication problems, organizers rescinded an invitation to her, saying they realized they did not have enough space in the program for her.

3. This got me thinking. Once you announce as a candidate...
you have to disclose the source of your funding.

But if you're just a "private citizen" and able to ride on publicity every time you just happen to pop up at key primary states...

4. Yes and no...
It's true that Sarah doesn't have to reveal her funding if she's merely "on vacation" in her bus...however, the bus is being paid for by SARAH PAC, which as a registered Political Action Committee does have to reveal its contributors.

5. The remnants of Irene will overshadow whatever impact Palin may have by her appearance.
She can't screech about the failure of government to strengthen and repair infrastructure. Or call for more federal aid to restore these communities. Or call for "go it alone" without FEMA.
