It's not complicated. We are the party that MUST stand for humanitarian values.
Stop spending OUR money on killing, war and weapons and start spending on health, education and shelter.

It is NOT complicated but they try to make it seem that way.

Please do not lose sight of that.

If not the Democratic party than who?

And if YOU, the Democratic party does not demand it, who will?

if you capitulate to the rhetoric that tries to make those values seem like PONIES, you must tell them BULLSHIT.

Holding feet to fire means demanding, not asking nicely and yes, sometimes it demands a harsh reminder with the only weapon in your arsenal...and that is not an angry email or letter.

1. People aren't fooled. Give them less than that &
They think 'you' are the same - that you're fuckin w/ them.

They expect the democratic party to be a leftist party - even in the most red areas.

You fuck up your brand when you aren't that.

3. I do not capitulate. But then I am told to be 'realistic.'

4. Either we hang together or we will surely hang separately...
Either we support our government or we will lose it. Our government is our people, our ideals, our morals, and our priorities. Others that spew nonsense against our government should have it thrown back into their faces.

7. We are the base of the party that we THOUGHT stood for humanitarian values
However, we have NO control over that party's activities. And they clearly don't give a shit about us.

No matter how much we give, it'll be a drop in the bucket. But we can still hand them our money, go broke, and be told that if we'd been more careful we wouldn't need the Social Security that a Democratic president is hell-bent on taking away.
