FOX weather reporter covered in plankton, er, RAW SEWAGE!
Edited on Sun Aug-28-11 02:52 PM by FarLeftFist
Tucker Barnes of the Fox affiliate in Washington, D.C. made what is destined to be one of the most famous live shots in history Saturday standing in Ocean, Md. as Hurricane Irene covered him what he thought was "plankton or something."

It wasn't. It was raw sewage.

"I don't know what it is, it has a sort of sandy consistency," Barnes told Fox's New York viewers, covered head to tow in what looked like frothy pancake batter.

"It doesn't taste great," he said.

Back in his warm and dry station, the MyFoxNY anchor mused, "We've never seen anything like it."

Barnes, struggling to hold onto a boardwalk bench, said he hadn't either.

"Our chief meterologist back at the station said that it's some sort of organic matter. I guess it's plankton or something mixed in with sand and salt," he said.

"I can tell you first hand that it doesn't smell great. It feels kind of soapy."

that fecal scum seeks it's own level. Tuck and roll in it and when he comes down with Hep Type II, perhaps he will be forced to go on disability. And which side of his mouth will he be talking out of then?

8. How do we know it is sewage?
This is one of the funniest things ever.

Been thinking the last days about how reporters seem to thrive, till it's kind of a joke, on putting themselves in the "shit", in order to do their reporting. As if they're bucking for promotion or something.

But this takes "the cake".

Still, how do we/you know that this is raw sewage. Cuz I'd only like to pass this on to about a million people.

29. Local networks have nothing to do with Fox News
All they do is buy a TV show package and the rights to be a Fox affiliate. The Fox station in Indianapolis is the most liberal of the networks here, but yet people lump them with Fox News because of the name. The ownership is different.

This is like BP. The gas stations (99% of them) have nothing to do with BP other than they buy the rights to use their name. Some BP stations don't even use BP gasoline. People boycotted them, just like some boycott local Fox stations, and end up only hurting the local businessman instead of the corporation that is the source of their anger.

And it was this exact storm porn reporting, that finally prompted me to turn off the TV.
