it is a pain in the ass for the poor worker that has to move the heavy cases again. You're just fucking with poor people with no insurance.

The bread, the dairy, the pasta, fruits, vegetables, etc. I think what they're saying is that it is similar to putting cartoons on cigarette boxes or something, in essence promoting children to drink... otherwise it's just funny that they would think these are logical places for each of these items.

And if it was part of the vendors contract, shame on Walmart. My gut feeling tells me the vendor probably wanted to put up his product near the other beer is being sold at because that is where customers go to buy beer. I am definitely leaning on pinning the blame on incompetent Walmart staff and management.

But then, some of the little things that I complain about seem like overreactions to others, so...I'm not going to tell you what to do or not to do.

47. I most certainly think someone was just trying to manufacture poutrage against Walmart.
Have you looked CLOSELY at the picture? There are five shelves, and on the third and fourth one, the beer is ONLY one case deep and the original product that occupied those shelves can be seen behind it. Not even a lowly Walmart employee, underpaid, uncovered, and non-union would be so careless.

I would add that some of the cases are backward, which means this was done in an awful hurry so as not to get caught.

Yet, uncritical DU'ers swallow this bullshit hook, line, and sinker as always.

If you believe that shelves are stocked this way ANYWHERE, that's your prerogative.

I wholeheartedly believe though that DU'ers suspend disbelief simply because the target is Walmart (pun intended).

56. It's a filler display
take a hard look at the shelf, there is no shelf tag as is under the snack items to the right of the photo & I bet under the 12 pack minute maid to the left. Chances are Coke (who make the Minute Maid) originally had that 4 foot section, ran short of whatever it was to be or it is a promo section for them. In any event it most likely ran empty & they filled it with Coors in order to not have an empty shelf. Maybe not the best choice next to the children snacks but I bet it won't be there tomorrow if you go back as it will be filled with another item.
