looking at it if you divide the storm in quarters
the north west side is the damage side
thats where the damage is always worst so when you track it you just watch the top left side and thats where the shit really hit the fan

7. Mother Nature's swirlie.
The hurricanes in the last few years have been much bigger.

I think Ike was 800 to 900 miles across, and filled up the Gulf. Same with Katrina.
Texas is 800 miles across E-W and North South.

I believe I read that the first hurricane that they realized was bigger because of global warming was Hugo in 1988. The weather guys said it was the biggest and most perfectly formed hurricane they had seen up to that time.
