3. I have a basement, Its not prime for sleeping. What else is keeping me up is my sleeping family
My parents in their bedroom, my sister, her husband and their little dog in the living room. I feel like somebody should be awake...

4. It should be passing you pretty soon.
It's heading my way, here in NY. The rain has already started and I can hear the wind. Try and get some rest, you have power and are surrounded by loved ones.

5. I stayed up when Ike came, several of us did.
I couldn't sleep with sound of wind.

We watched battery powered tvs, and ate bbq.

Wouldn't hurt for someone to stay up, stay safe.

Stay dry.
