4. No problem.
That Times Square link actually has 3 cams in Times Square .... two from up high and one at street level. Cam '1' .... shows how empty Broadway is tonight. Click on the cam links below the main one showing .... if interested to see the other two. All the best.

6. I just went to that
I got ten seconds of the stream and then a LOUD Spanish language Dawn dishsoap ad (talk about random!). Seeing as how someone's asleep in the next room, I had to close it.

9. Sorry about that ..... Justin TV ....
always opens with some obnoxious ad .... no longer then 30 seconds, then goes back to the programing. As long as you don't re-load the page you won't see any more ads ..... I just hit the 'mute' button on my computer for the ad.

8. I know what you mean..
My folks live in Long Island. My dad said, he's not gonna worry about it, and headed off to bed. My mom chatted with me for a while and said she was okay.

11. Well hope they stay safe and sound, you're dad sounds like ...
what I would be doing out there .. get to bed and forget about it. Funny though I have another friend Kimsama ..... in New Haven Connecticut .... and her folks live in San Francisco ... kinda opposite of your circumstance. Bet her folks are worried sick tonight. But she's a tough cookie from what I know of her. Probably like your dad. All the best and hugs. :hi:

13. Dad is a dentist
He's probably more worried about if he's gonna be able to see his patients tomorrow. He did say if it was bad he would send the staff home. The office and house is in the same place. All he has to do is walk downstairs.

14. They never mentioned that..
Edited on Sun Aug-28-11 01:38 AM by AsahinaKimi
I talked to them hours ago. So, I don't know. I'm sure I would have gotten a call if they had to leave. How do you evacuate all of Long Island?

16. Other post says only certain parts of it. So I'm sure they must not be
in that area. I thought I heard yesterday that all of Long Island since it's so exposed.

Sorry to alarm.
