Sex scandal

In August, 2011, the senator was involved in a sex scandal following the publications of a series of nude/sexual pictures from a gay mobile dating site called Grindr, that went viral after media exposure. In one of the pictures a man appears on a bed on all fours, showing his back to a mirror. The senator has not confirmed or denied whether or not he is the man in the photographs. In an interview, he has stated that pictures of his body have been taken to document the progress of a weight-loss regimen. The pictures are a focus of debate in the Puerto Rican media. The media coverage has proliferated into the US media with special focus on the republican senator's long stand against same-sex legislation.

Of course now I'll have to wait and see what kind of congress critter we get to replace David Wu who had his own problems, but at least they weren't anywhere near as bad as all the things that Cunningham was involved with.
