6. I don't think so. Con Ed said it will take a "few" days to restore power to
lower Manhattan (that they cut to protect live lines/cables from salt water) and the subways will not reopen until "late" Monday (assuming afternoon).

... as do many of the large office buildings that house the investment firms.

7. The NYSE has their own backup generators in case of a power outage.
So unless something more substantial than a power loss occurs, they will probably stay open.
