Otherwise, yeah, this is pretty asinine. If I recall correctly this isn't the first time she's wallowed in offensive humor. Frankly, I've never had much regard for Winstead. Her entire career of late seems primarily to consist of angry, nasty snark and living off her status as "co-creator" of The Daily Show, even though she hasn't had anything to do with it in a decade, long before Stewart took it over.

Orthodox Jews choose their religion. If they have ways of getting around the silly laws that this religion prescribes, then what's the harm in pointing it out? Every highly restrictive religion does this, and it's OK for nonbelievers to point out the hypocrisy in these workarounds.
