Bummer that I missed it. I love your Friday challenges even though 99% of the time I have no idea what you are talking about! But it's fun to see how others often eventually figure out some or all of it. :-)

I got the biggest laugh out of that one! Thanks for reminding me!

Yes, we've got some real art historians here at DU! I'm finding that out. And I was impressed by the depth of knowledge this Friday on American art.

What I particularly love is hearing people's stories about a painting or sculpture that was a nice experience in their lives and how much that meant to them. It's a real testament to the power of art.

Come back next week if you get a chance...it'll be fun... :hi:
